And anything to do with any character from the fleischer studios! also other fleischer studios & famous Studios Fan arts are also welcome here including van-beuren & many other old cartoon characters <3 for example: Superman, Popeye, BettyBoop & ect. Coming-Soon, Depending on the members of the group, a few asked in the past, but that wasn't enough. Well basically nobody cares much about the van beuren/Aesop fables cartoons so i just thought it would be nice to add them as a connection to the Fleischer Studios. Btw the Van Beuren Studios was only over the road from the Fleischer Studios (Although that may have been a rumor), even though they were rivals the Van Beuren Studios wasnt as successful as the Fleischers and stopped making cartoons around 1937. Van Beurens most populer character, turned out to be Felix the Cat who was created by Pat Sullivan. Max and Dave Fleischer's Fleischer Studios adapted the Thimble Theatre characters into a series of Popeye the Sailor theatrical cartoon shorts for Paramount Pictures. These cartoons proved to be among the most popular of the 1930s, and the Fleischers—and later Paramount's own Famous Studios—continued production through 1957. The cartoons are now owned by Turner Entertainment Olive Oyl's Website: [link] [link] He might not be animated by the fleischer studios nowadays but hes still the worlds greatest hero! Although all entries are in the public domain, ancillary rights (as well as the original 35mm master elements) are owned today by Warner Bros. Animation. Warner has owned Superman publisher DC Comics since 1969. |
